Frankfort is small for a state capital — and that’s actually one of its strengths as an event market. A tight-knit planning community, a calendar that runs heavy on civic, association, and government-adjacent events, and venues like the Grand Theatre, the Capital Plaza, and the Frankfort Convention Center that handle a real range of bookings. I’ll be in Eminence, KY through summer (June–August), about 30 minutes up the road, which makes Frankfort effectively my local market for that window — included-travel pricing, walk-throughs, and same-day prep all built in. Kentucky State University, the surrounding Franklin and Anderson County school districts, and the corporate and association calendar around the Capitol all fit naturally with the show: clean by default, consent-driven, calibrated for whichever audience is in front of me.
