built for the fair stage

Build for the fair stage you actually have to program.

Most variety acts get dropped onto a grandstand or into a tent and hope the crowd stays. This show is designed around the specific rooms fair boards actually book: the open-air stage at 7pm, the entertainment tent between grandstand events, the pavilion where the demolition derby crowd is killing time. Volunteers from the audience become the show, which means people stick around to watch their friends and neighbors do something they’ll talk about all year.

📍
where i’ll be in 2026

In your region this season.

In June and July 2026 I’ll be in Eminence, Kentucky while my wife performs at a nearby Renaissance festival. From August through early October, I’ll be in Mount Vernon, Arkansas for the same reason.

If your fair is within a few hours of either area, I can often book at minimal travel cost. That can mean a single weekday filler show, a fill-in for a cancellation, or a full multi-day run with the discount applied.

fair board faq

the questions your entertainment committee is already asking.

Is the show family-friendly?2025-12-31T17:41:20-05:00

Yes. The show is clean, comedy-forward, and designed for mixed fair audiences. No crude or sexual content, no humiliation, and nothing R-rated.

Is this safe for volunteers?2025-12-31T17:41:56-05:00

Safety is a priority. Volunteers are selected through suggestibility tests, guided clearly on-stage, and monitored throughout. Anyone not comfortable or not following directions is simply thanked and returned to the audience.

What ages can participate?2025-12-31T17:42:44-05:00

Ideally 16+ for volunteers. Depending on your fair audience and your preference, we can discuss 14+ on a case-by-case basis.

How many volunteers are on stage?2025-12-31T17:43:16-05:00

Typically up to ~20 volunteers, depending on stage size and chair count. A minimum of 10–12 is recommended for the best show energy.

Will anyone be embarrassed or made fun of?2026-04-15T17:31:18-04:00

No. The goal is a fun, positive experience for volunteers and the audience. The show is built around laughter and amazement—never humiliation.

Can the fair record the show?2025-12-31T17:44:13-05:00

Audience photos (no flash) and short clips are fine. Full-show recording is not permitted without prior written approval. The induction portion is not permitted to be recorded by fair/media/third parties.

Do you carry insurance?2025-12-31T17:44:48-05:00

Yes. Liability insurance is in place and a Certificate of Insurance (COI) is available upon request.

What if we have a mixed audience (kids, teens, adults)?2025-12-31T17:45:19-05:00

That’s the sweet spot. The show is structured to play big for teens and adults while staying clean and appropriate for families.

zero-risk booking

The Laugh-Out-Loud Guarantee

I don’t do flat rooms. If this isn’t the most fun you’ve ever had at a hypnosis show — if your audience isn’t laughing, crying happy tears, or still talking about it in the parking lot — I want to hear about it, and we’ll make it right. No fine print, no runaround.

Tell me about your fair. I’ll come back with a clear answer.

Send me your dates, your stage, and the slow you’re trying to fill. I’ll confirm availability, send the fair one-pager, and quote a clear number within 24 hours.
