Lexington is the cultural and event hub of central Kentucky: the University of Kentucky's massive student-programming calendar, Transylvania's smaller-but-active campus calendar, a corporate market driven by Rupp Arena and the Central Bank Center, and a deep public and independent-school scene across Fayette County and the surrounding Bluegrass districts. The show is built for the range Lexington asks for: clean Catholic and independent-school work at Lexington Catholic, Sayre, and LCA, college late-night and SGA programming on the UK campus, corporate and association events downtown, and the kind of mid-size theater room the Lexington Opera House or Manchester Music Hall delivers. Through summer (June to August) I'm in Eminence, KY, which keeps Lexington roughly an hour away. Included-travel rates apply during that window. After the summer, Lexington stays in active rotation; the route is familiar and I know what each room expects.
